Temple St. Clair was founded in Florence, Italy in the mid-1980’s. It was there that the founder, Temple St. Clair Carr, began a lifelong collaboration with the world’s finest artigiani – the centuries-old Florentine goldsmiths’ guild. Temple fell in love with the history of jewelry and gold. This passion led her to create jewels and design elements that reflect the traditions of human adornment and universal storytelling. Working with a classic Italian yellow gold, St. Clair partnered with artisans in Florence to translate ancient techniques into meaningful jewels that would stand the test of time.
